When you have completed your GCSE studies you can think about adding a marketing qualification to your list of qualifications.
We are planning to run the Level 3 (equivalent to AS) Introductory Certificate in Marketing on Saturday mornings from January 2012 and as a summer school in the school holidays 2012.
You might like to consider studying this qualification either:
- between GCSE and starting your A Levels
- or between Lower Sixth and Upper Sixth
- or between completing your A Levels and starting University or a new job.
How will it help me?
There is no future employer organisation that does not have to practice marketing in some way or another. Whether you want to pursue marketing as a career or simply have an understanding and an extra qualification in what marketing is about this course will help you. It will also help you to market yourself in the future.
What will I learn?
The course will help you to learn how organisation develops their marketing activity using the right mix of price, promotion, place, products and services to be sure they are successful.
It will help you to understand the importance of knowing who your real customers are and how to communicate with them effectively to make sure they are satisfied and will recommend your products and services to future customers.
It will also help you to present your ideas with confidence when speaking with others and to use suitable language for working in business.
